This is cause for debate for people who have their own well.

Also, outside their home is a meter off a group water scheme, which incidentally is not connected.  A blue pipe will be sticking up over the ground.  Will there be any charge for this?  Let us hope not!

The well was initially bored at a cost (which was not cheap!).

However, it all depends on the depth that the well drilling contractors go down to find a vein of water which will be sufficient for constant supply.

Apart from maintaining a good quality supply of water using purification systems, softeners, filtration systems and such like, these cost money and are not cheap!
